Description:
The ruling King of the island Tamasuade, Xavier was still a boy when he took the throne six years ago. A terrible plague had just finished ravaging the country and its citizens, including the royal family. He, with the help of the ruling Council, is valiantly trying to lead the nation out of its succeeding depression, with little apparent luck.
When the plague ended he made the decision to form an annual tournament, where Tamasuade’s greatest warriors could gather and test their strength against each other—an activity meant to bolster the country’s faltering faith in their government, militia, and economy.
His biggest frustration is Zeta, who has won Tamasuade’s tournament each year. Xavier aims to harness Zeta’s skills in combat to train other soldiers, but has found Zeta’s stubborn attitude quite a detriment to his plans, and a strain on his patience.
