Considered to be the country's best fighter for the past six years, Zeta is also known for his ill temper and stubborn personality. As the king himself likes to put it, Zeta is "not the easiest person to work with."

Zeta is left on a fairly loose rope around the palace to do as he wishes. His deep animosity toward the noble class keeps him distanced and to himself on the palace grounds.

Zeta is bothered by the death of his previous apprentice, and so his attempt at training new soldiers fail countless times. He blames it on his lack of enthusiasm for the recruits hand-picked by Xavier.

In one last effort to force Zeta to train a successful apprentrice, King Xavier sends Zeta on a mission to choose and train someone or be kicked out of the palace.
