One year ago today I walked off of a plane into the Osaka International Airport...it's hard to believe it. In so many ways I'm still between thinking it was a dream and feeling as though I never left.

t's funny how we get older and start quoting things your parents used to say that made you annoyed--because they turned out to be true. Time flies.

Changes are a true part of life, and yes...today marks a day where there will be some significant changes being made to Scog due to Rask's absense (see Rask's journal), but we don't stop because those changes seem scary or daunting. Life is always a bit scary--but the trick is to keep walking, anyway.

I advise all of you to check the forums for more details on the current dealings.

Well, I'm afraid I have some unfortunate news for you all.  This page marks the last page I will be illustrating for Scog.  I believe this is our 45th, which I count as an achievement, personally.  I've learned a lot with this project, both in the comic world and out.

If you'd like more details, please visit the forums; I will post a longer explanation there, which I hope will suffice.

Regardless, illustrating for all of you and (hopefully) giving you entertainment for the past year or two has been a privilege.  I won't be dropping off the face of the earth, I promise to keep tabs on the forums, and when I launch my own comics you will be able to find links to them there.  To all of you, thanks for all the good times.
