Sorry this is a bit late...I usually get the Monday page up last Sunday evening, but this one was giving me some trouble. If you haven't noticed yet, I've switched to a CMYK color mode, which will ensure that whenever Scog is printed--the colors will print, too. Unfortunately this means original colors have been altered (particularly in Jasper's hair). It has also meant going from jpg to png formatting for the web...meh. Just another experiment. I'll get the hang of it.

As for my Scog buffer, I was rather unsuccesful over spring break. I spent the majority of it working on applications and my portfolio in my search for a job. It left me exhausted and depressed, dispite the fact that I DID get two internship offers for the summer. One isn't paid, and the other is not officially offered to me yet (they need to check to make sure I'm not a criminal). At least it is something...no matter how disappointing it is to call place after place only to hear, "we are not looking for anyone at this time." What's more, if they ARE looking for a position to be filled, it is only a temporary internship position...so if I don't continue on to my Master's, they don't want me.

My friend Miena calls me a "manaita no uwe no koi." This is Japanese for "fish on a cutting board," which basically means I'm waiting for the slaughter. Will I go to graduate school? Will I find a job? What does my future have in store for me? I don't know. I can only flop around and gasp for air.

LoL. Hmm....you know, if I could be any fish I wanted to be, I'd be a bright yellow one. Like the fish in finding Nemo who was obsessed with bubbles.
