Ugh, this week has been...difficult. My music professor, the man who has directed our Wind and Percussion Ensemble all the years I have been at this college, died on Sunday.

Needless to say...funerals and viewings and grieving were never really part of my "plan." I've been running ragged getting things done.

Between finishing some websites for some clients, meeting with teachers, straightening out my schedule, buying books and supplies, and unpacking, there is a lot not getting done.

HOWEVER! I would like you to know that at the very least, you can rely on a new Scog page this morning!

And so begins our cave scenes. By the time they get out of there, both Rask and I were pretty darn sick of drawing and coloring a mass of rocky walls.

SEEMS ITS STORY TIEM. GATHER ROUND THA CAMPFIRE KIDDIES.

Triva: This was the last page I did purely on the computer using a tablet. Starting with the next page, Ive gone back to sketching the pages by hand, scanning them in, and inking them in photoshop. Ive found this to ultimately be a quicker way of going about things.

Classes are going smoothly-- I can already tell it's going to be a hectic semester, so I set up a schedule for myself to show when I can work on stuff, namely Scog. I figured out weekends are my best bet-- so we'll see how that goes. I really hope to continue to keep up on this, and not miss any updates. No promises, but I'll do my best. Ciao!
